In comfort and peace you now rest
On earth a light went out only to be forever aglow in heaven yesterday. There are no words that could be said to help ease the pain nor the disbelief that she is gone. It sheds some comfort to know that now she can dance, run and play forever as she was on earth, a baby full of happiness and big wide-eyed smiles... Eventhough she may have been tested by numerous times... she gave alot of us a better understanding of love, hope and acceptance.

Tests n stuff
Well tommorow Jim goes for his ultra sound. This will see if he has an adrenal tumor like the doctors suspect. Atleast we will know one way or the other. On the 30th of July he goes for a minor surgery to fix some other issues.... hopefully by the end of the summer he'll be as good as new..
Just have to get the issues with his family sorted out before the stress from that gives him an infarction... :(

Up North
Today was spent shopping in the local 'bigger' village of Espanol... In Massey where my mother lives, there are are few little stores, a home hardware and a grocery store. So off to the big smoke we went. The dollar store was great !
When to a pool tournament last night, got bumped out my second game.... - I totally suck at pool-
If i get ambitious i may cut the grass later or tommorow.... We are suppose to go garage saling tommorow.... Heading back on Sunday morning.
Hopefully My old Bird hasn't gotten into too much trouble on his own ( Missin' him)
Elaine, if you read this .... drop me a line soon and let me know whats going on...

Montreal for Dummies
That seemed to be the theme of the weekend. My mother and I headed out to visit my aunt and uncle in St. Felix de Kingsey in Quebec. About an hour and a half the other side of Montreal. The trip is great, all told is about 9 hours drive. Getting thru Montreal is a pain in the ass. There is no good time to drive thru it.... unless its 3am. All the traffic signs are of course not in English..... the cars whip in and out in front of you, you need to have eyes in the back of your head while its on a swivel. So mother and I joked that we would write a book called Driving thru Montreal for Dummies.. as we had made up our own meanings of what the words meant on some of the signs.....
Otherwis e it was a nice weekend. It had been a few years since seeing my family down there. We even visited my 86 year old great aunt.. who told us some pretty interesting stories about the family..
I was hoping that Calf patrol would work out this trip, but the calves are about a week late now... so hopefully there is nothing wrong...
My aunt n uncle ( now my cousin) run a 40 plus head dairy farm... Some of Canada's best moo juice comes from Ferme Beardson....
This weekend i will be up north visiting ma.. before i hunker down for the summer and work my ass off.... My new job starts Monday... Woohoooo

As the world turns
I some how... wonder how family works sometimes.
How a grandson can take a strip of his grandmother over 20 dollars?
How a daughter can use and abuse her mother?
How a sister can let her husband threaten her brother who has health issues.
How stress can erase the beginning of a dream....
Lump them together and sink the boat!

Onward.... Outward..... Backward?
Although the layout of this blog isn't my desired result, I will continue to work at it.
Otherwise, I am four days from graduation. Two years of essays, group work and 2 hour drives each day will finally pay off... Although the huge pay off will be finding a J O B. I had an interview on thursday, so hopefully that will be the "Onward"
I am gaining weight like a sea cow ..... " outward"
Jim was taken off his meds last week, as he had a serious reaction to one or both of them. We see the specialist next tuesday. So hopefully there is some resolve. I feel so badly for him, He has pain but doesnt complain. Its to the point where I need him to speak up if something is right, because it could be serious.... But he'd rather be "manly" about it and not say a word until he passes out.... And I'm thinking.. OH I guess there was something wrong there.
I know we can get past this tooo... Just another hurtle on the road to victory as they call it.
This Friday is Jim's fathers 60th birthday, I really wish I could have had the chance to meet him and get to know him, He sounds like a wonderful man. I should be heading up to his resting place and have another chat with him...... ( i think thats why we are having all these appointments now... I asked Him to keep an eye out over his son..... ) perhaps thats what he's doing now....
Otherwise, I wait for work....
